Not every couple dreams of a traditional wedding.
Some long for something quieter.
More intentional.
A day shaped around presence rather than expectation.
Elopements create space to slow down, to be fully present with one another, and to begin your marriage in a way that feels honest and deeply personal.
Quiet alpine landscapes, lakes and timeless mountain stillness.
Wild coastline, golden light and a sense of freedom at the edge of the ocean.
My approach is rooted in storytelling rather than posing.
I pay attention to the in-between moments — the deep breath before your vows, the way your hands naturally find each other, the quiet joy of simply being together.
Nothing forced.
Nothing performative.
Just your story unfolding as it truly is.
I live between Switzerland and Cape Town and feel most at home where nature invites us to slow down.
Over the years, I’ve travelled to more than 40 countries — often solo, backpacking and moving through the world with curiosity and openness. These journeys shaped the way I see people and connection: with presence, emotion and a deep appreciation for meaningful experiences.
It’s what naturally drew me toward elopements.
Photography, for me, is about witnessing people honestly — holding space for intentional beginnings and documenting them with care through both photography and film.

"Nina has a great talent, not only for photography but more importantly her way of being. With her kind and open mentality she makes you feel at ease and comfortable around the camera. The pictures she took reflect her personality: full of energy, warmth and inspiration. Nina, thank you so much for the beautiful memories!"
